Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our service workshop in Wacol, QLD. You will perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of Komatsu equipment and components, with opportunities to develop your skills further working with an OEM. Roster: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime as required.

Enjoy a 9‑day fortnight and an RDO every second week. Remuneration: Up to $55 per hour plus superannuation and overtime rates.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills.
• Technical expertise in construction and mining equipment, including diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and promoting safe work practices in a busy workshop environment.
• C class driver's licence
• Hold a valid LF Forklift or Crane Licence/ tickets is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on a wide range of Komatsu equipment and components.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds as required.
• Work in a fast-paced workshop with emphasis on safety and quality.

The Opportunity
