Job summary

Cummins Inc. in the Hunter region at Muswellbrook invites skilled Field Service Diesel Mechanics to join our on-site team. You will service heavy vehicle equipment across mining and industrial applications, travelling to customer sites to deliver first-class maintenance and repairs.

The role includes training on Tier 4 HHP engines, a flexible 5-on/4-off roster, and a tool of trade vehicle, with overtime, a mine site allowance and a yearly bonus.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Plant or Heavy Vehicle/Heavy Diesel.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in heavy diesel mining equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a first-class service to mining customers as a travelling Field Service Technician.
• Perform breakdown and preventative tasks.
• Deliver support for Tier 4 HHP engines after Cummins technical training.

We are looking for talented Field Service Diesel Mechanics to join our team in the Hunter region. Based at our Muswellbrook branch, our team specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across high horsepower mining and industrial applications.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Deliver a first-class service to our mining customers as a travelling Field Service Technician

• Perform breakdown and preventative tasks

• Deliver support for our new Tier 4 HHP engines, the most advanced HHP product on the market following fully Cummins technical training

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Relevant trade qualification (Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel)

• A valid driver’s license

• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and similar applications is preferred

5 on 4 off Day/night shift rotational
