Job summary

BYD Sunshine Coast is expanding its workshop team and currently has two EV Technician opportunities available. Working as part of a highly skilled workshop, you will diagnose, service, repair and maintain BYD vehicles while upholding the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

To succeed you should have relevant automotive trade qualifications, experience as a technician in a dealership or workshop, and a current Australian driver's license.

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive trade qualifications.
• Experience as a technician in a dealership or automotive workshop.
• EV accreditation or experience highly regarded, but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
• The ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team.
• A current Australian driver's licence.
• A proactive attitude and desire to continuously learn.

Responsibilities

• Conducting vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance
• Performing diagnostics and fault finding on electric vehicle systems
• Completing warranty and repair work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Carrying out safety inspections and quality checks
• Maintaining accurate repair documentation
• Working collaboratively with the service and parts teams
• Ensuring a safe and clean work environment

About the Role
