Glory EV Group Pty Ltd is seeking qualified Automotive Technicians to join our growing aftersales team at our BYD Cranbourne Service Centres. We are passionate about the future of electric vehicles and seek technicians with automotive workshop experience; EV experience is highly regarded.

You will maintain vehicle quality, diagnose issues, and deliver high-standard service outcomes for our customers, working in a modern BYD service environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician (dealership preferred).
• Certificate III or equivalent in automotive trade.
• EV or Hybrid experience is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on BYD vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics using manufacturer-approved tools and systems.
• Accurately complete Repair Orders (ROs) and service documentation.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report any additional work required.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts team to ensure efficiency.
• Follow BYD repair procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
• Ensure all work is completed within allocated timeframes.

Requirements

• Relevant automotive trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Experience with diagnostics and fault finding
• EV or Hybrid experience (highly regarded but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Valid Australian Driver’s License
• Full Australian working rights
