Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining BYD vehicles to high workmanship standards.

About the Role

Working as part of a highly skilled workshop, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining BYD vehicles while ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance

• Performing diagnostics and fault finding on electric vehicle systems

• Completing warranty and repair work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

• Carrying out safety inspections and quality checks

• Maintaining accurate repair documentation

• Working collaboratively with the service and parts teams

• Ensuring a safe and clean work environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Relevant automotive trade qualifications

• Previous technician experience in a dealership or automotive workshop

• EV accreditation or experience highly regarded, but not essential

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• A commitment to quality workmanship and customer service

• The ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team

• A current Australian driver's licence

• A proactive attitude and desire to continuously learn
