Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Sydney, Australia, seeks a part-time Technical Writer to support scientific and engineering projects by coordinating and managing technical documentation, ensuring quality, compliance, safety and regulatory standards.

You will work with scientists, engineers and project stakeholders to translate complex concepts into clear documentation, while maintaining schedules and contributing to regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain a national security clearance
• Tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline or related field
• Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop documentation from technical concepts and requirements
• Experience preparing technical, procedural or project documentation desirable
• Strong organisational and task management skills
• Understanding of quality systems, compliance and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive approach to knowledge sharing and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation
• Document project scope, methodologies and operational impacts
• Support project delivery within established frameworks and procedures
• Assess and prioritise documentation requirements for projects and engineering changes
• Coordinate, revise and issue documentation to relevant stakeholders
• Assist with project management activities and regulatory submissions
• Support quality, compliance, safety and governance requirements
