Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment is seeking a talented Technical Writer to join a rapidly growing IT services company on a 3-month contract. You will produce brochures and high-quality software documentation, translating complex content for business audiences and shaping information architecture to help customers understand cloud offerings.

Based in Sydney or Canberra, you will report to the scrum master/project manager.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
• Excellent written skills in English.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation with attention to detail.

• Complete Operations and R&D documentation.

An exciting opportunity has risen for a talented and dedicated Technical writer to join one of Australia’s rapidly growing and certified Information Technology and Services company that is dedicated to providing highly secure cloud services to its varied clients.

The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative team of talented and passionate technical professionals on a 3-month contract with a possibility of extension subject to business requirements and will be reporting directly to the scrum master/project manager.

What you will be doing:

• Creating a brochure for one of the business products as well as producing engaging and memorable content explaining the differentiating factors of the company’s offerings from other cloud providers
• Producing high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for intended audience
• Completing the company’s Operations as well as R&D documentation
• Translating and developing highly technical language into a voice for business audiences
• Creating and maintaining the information architecture to enhance customer understanding of the company’s products and systems
  

What you’ll need:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Excellent written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Must be based in either Sydney or Canberra
