Job summary

Uniting AgeWell is seeking a Quality Administrator / Technical Writer to join the Quality & Customer Experience team. You will develop and maintain policies, procedures and training resources across Home Care, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for diverse audiences.

Working with governance and clinical leaders, you will translate complex topics into practical documents, manage document control, and support audits and governance activities.

Responsibilities

About the role:

Are you passionate about turning complex information into clear, practical resources that help people deliver great care? We're seeking a Quality Administrator / Technical Writer to join our Quality & Customer Experience team, supporting the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, training resources and operational documentation across Home Care.

Working closely with governance, clinical and quality leaders, you'll play a key role in ensuring information is accurate, accessible and aligned with aged care requirements. This is a role where strong writing, organisation and stakeholder engagement directly contribute to quality outcomes and better experiences for customers and employees.

In this role, you will:

• Develop, review and maintain policies, procedures and operational documentation across Home Care services
• Provide administrative support to quality and governance activities, including audits, meetings and reporting
• Research complex topics and translate them into practical resources for a range of audiences
• Partner with clinical, quality and governance subject matter experts to capture and document best practice
• Create and manage user guides, work instructions, training materials, FAQs and knowledge resources
• Maintain document registers, version control processes and electronic document libraries

• Confidence working with subject matter experts and stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Advanced Microsoft Office and document formatting skills
• Experience supporting compliance, quality or regulated environments, ideally within aged care, health or community services

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

• Acurrent Working With Children’s Check (VIC) or willingness to obtain one
• Full Australian working rights
• A current Police Records Check/NDIS Clearance or be willing to undertake this process
• Current flu and ongoing vaccinations
