Haylo People Pty Ltd in NSW seeks a Technical Specialist to support the Workers Compensation team. You will provide technical guidance to Case Managers on complex claims and help strengthen compliance across processes to improve outcomes.

You will work with leadership to drive performance, mentor staff, and influence claims strategy while leveraging exposure to a self-insurance environment. Salary is up to AU$118,000+super.

Formación

• Strong end-to-end NSW Workers Compensation claims management experience.
• Experience in a technical specialist role or senior Case Manager ready to step up.
• Solid knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation legislation and compliance.
• Experience handling complex claims, ideally in a self-insurance environment.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.

Technical Specialist, Workers Compensation

HAYLO People are partnering with an established organisation to recruit a Technical Specialist within their NSW Workers Compensation team.

This role will focus on strengthening regulatory compliance, improving claims management practices and providing technical guidance to Case Managers. You'll work closely with leadership to support team performance and drive consistent claims outcomes.

The Role

• Providing technical advice and guidance to Case Managers on complex Workers Compensation claims
• Reviewing ongoing liability, reasonable excuse decisions and other compliance-related activities
• Coaching and mentoring Case Managers to improve technical knowledge and decision-making
• Supporting claims strategy reviews to improve claims progression and return-to-work outcomes
• Working closely with Team Leaders to identify technical gaps and improve overall team performance

About You

• Strong end-to-end NSW Workers Compensation claims management experience
• Experience in a technical specialist role or as a high-performing Senior Case Manager looking to step up
• Sound knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation legislation, compliance and claims decision-making
• Experience managing complex claims, ideally within a self-insurance environment
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with different personalities and stakeholders
