Job summary

Allianz is seeking a Technical Specialist in Workers Compensation for North Sydney to provide technical claims management advice and help drive timely finalisation. You will coach team members, review liability and entitlement decisions, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements while maintaining privacy across interactions.

You will work with managers to meet KPIs, support RTW targets, and contribute to value creation for customers and staff in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience managing complex matters within Workers Compensation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with empathy and commercial focus.
• Ability to collaborate with peers and a range of stakeholders.
• Act as an SME with mentoring and coaching experience.
• Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage competing resources and demands.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting complex information and guiding decisions.
• Interest in leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching on legislation, standards, regulations, and policies.
• Ensure data accuracy and regulatory timeframes within the team.
• Support achievement of KPIs, outcomes, and RTW targets.
• Review PIAWE, liability decisions, and other entitlement/decisions.
