Daikin Australia is seeking a qualified HVAC Service Technician to join our Forrestfield team, working on Daikin chillers and applied products. You will commission, fault-diagnose, perform preventive maintenance, andexecute on-site repairs with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have central-plant experience, strong fault analysis skills, andComfort working across control platforms. Willingness to travel interstate and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

About the role

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role, working on our Daikin Chillers and Daikin Applied products. We currently have an opportunity for a qualified air conditioning Service Technician to join our established team in Forrestfield, WA. This position involves working on a range of market leading chillers and applied products as well as being responsible for commissioning, routine preventive maintenance, fault finding diagnostics and on-the-spot emergency repairs. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone who is driven, ambitious and motivated by results, and can manage the pressures of a highly competitive market and a fast-paced industry.

About you

If you are an HVAC technician who has a strong central-plant background, is willing to get out of your comfort zone, and join and learn from an industry leader, then we want to hear from you!

• A desire to be trained by an OEM across the full product range from Water-cooled and Air-cooled chillers as well as AHU's & FCU's.
• A sound technical ability to conduct fault analysis on applications and complete repairs, sometimes within tight time constraints.
• Some Controls experience and want to further enhance their ability across various control platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with our customers and other stakeholders.
• The ability to work autonomously but also sometimes within a tight team context.
• Be willing to travel interstate to assist other teams when possible.

Other requirements

• Trade qualifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Chiller experience is desirable, however not essential in this hybrid style role
• Current Refrigerant Handling License
• Current driver's license
