Job summary

Actrol in NSW seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to assist in selecting, selling and supporting refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment across the state. You will deliver technical advice, quotes and heat load calculations to customers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have a Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with 2+ years post-apprenticeship experience, a valid driver's licence, and excellent verbal and written communication to grow customer relationships and expand our NSW

Qualifications

• Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least two years' post-apprenticeship experience.
• Identify, nurture and grow new and existing customer relationships.
• Provide heat load calculations, equipment selections and quotations.
• Current driver's licence and ability to travel for site visits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the selection, sales and support of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and accessories.
• Provide technical support, advice on equipment selections, and quotations.
• Visit project sites to provide field support and meet customers.
• Train branch teams and present new products to customers.
• Develop relationships across NSW to expand the customer base.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a refrigeration specialist, to assist in the selection, sales and support of our Refrigeration and Air-conditioning equipment and accessories.

You’ll be providing technical support, advice on equipment selections, and quotations to our internal and external customers. With a focus on customer service you will be part of our sales team supporting customers across the state. Day to day can range from meeting with customers, providing technical presentations, training our branch teams, whilst keeping abreast of emerging trends and new products from our suppliers. The role may also require you to visit project sites to provide customers with field support.

Does this sound like you?

• You have Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least two years' post apprenticeship experience

• You have a current drivers licence (fully maintained vehicle provided)
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and passionate about great customer service.

This position will suit a technically minded Refrigeration or HVAC technician. Diverse experience in the HVAC-R sector would be considered favorably.
