Job summary

Actrol, part of the Reece Group, invites a Sales & Application Engineer to help customers select refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment by combining technical knowledge with practical advice and a service mindset. Based in Marleston, SA, you’ll work with the sales team to provide technical support, equipment selections and quotations.

You will travel within SA, deliver technical presentations and training, and stay up-to-date with trends and new supplier products, visiting project sites

Qualifications

• Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least two years’ post-apprenticeship experience
• Diploma or Degree in Refrigeration or related Engineering field
• Customer-first mindset with strong relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, equipment selections and quotations to internal and external customers
• Support customers across South Australia, delivering technical presentations and training
• Stay updated on trends and supplier products; visit project sites for hands-on field support

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales and Applications Engineering Lead, you’ll help customers find the right refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and accessories by bringing together technical knowledge, practical advice and a strong service mindset.

You’ll provide technical support, equipment selections and quotations for both internal and external customers. Working closely with the sales team, you’ll support customers across the state, deliver technical presentations and training, stay close to emerging trends and new supplier products, and visit project sites when customers need hands-on field support.

About you

We’re looking for a technically minded refrigeration specialist, or a Diploma or Degree-qualified Engineer with refrigeration industry experience, who brings curiosity, practical know-how and a customer-first approach.

• Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least two years’ post apprenticeship experience
• Someone who is able to identify, nurture and grow new and existing customer relationships
• Confidence providing heat load calculations, equipment selections and quotations
• Have a current driver’s license and comfortable with some travel in the role
