Job summary

Reece is seeking a technically minded Sales & Application Engineer to support refrigeration and air‑conditioning customers across the state. You’ll provide technical support, perform heat load calculations, and develop equipment selections and quotations.

You’ll work with the sales team, deliver technical presentations and training, visit project sites, and stay abreast of supplier products and trends. A Diploma or Degree in refrigeration or engineering and Cert III Refrigeration Trade

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in refrigeration/engineering.
• Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with 2+ years post-apprenticeship.
• Ability to perform heat load calculations and equipment selections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current driver’s license and willingness to travel.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales and Applications Engineering Lead, you’ll help customers find the right refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment and accessories by bringing together technical knowledge, practical advice and a strong service mindset. You’ll provide technical support, equipment selections and quotations for both internal and external customers. Working closely with the sales team, you’ll support customers across the state, deliver technical presentations and training, stay close to emerging trends and new supplier products, and visit project sites when customers need hands‑on field support.

About you

• We’re looking for a technically minded refrigeration specialist, or a Diploma or Degree‑qualified Engineer with refrigeration industry experience, who brings curiosity, practical know‑how and a customer‑first approach.
• Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least two years’ post‑apprenticeship experience.
• Someone who is able to identify, nurture and grow new and existing customer relationships.
• Confidence providing heat load calculations, equipment selections and quotations.
• Have a current driver’s license and comfortable with some travel in the role.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
