RCR Mining Technologies in Western Australia seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to join the growing business development team based in Welshpool. You will bridge clients and engineering teams, understand operations, build trusted relationships, and translate requirements into practical, commercially sound solutions across mining, defence, rail and renewables.

Qualifications

• Tertiary engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Hydraulics.
• Experience with OEM equipment, heavy industry or mining equipment.
• Ability to translate client needs into practical engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients across Mining, Defence, Rail and Renewables.
• Understand client operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Support opportunities through the project lifecycle from studies to delivery and aftermarket support.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and project delivery teams.
• Contribute to technical and commercial proposals, tenders and solution development.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and value engineering.
