RCR Mining Technologies in Bunbury, WA, is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our workshop on a full-time basis. The role focuses on hydraulic fitting, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic components for mining technologies.

You will work with a progressive team, review drawings, oversee apprentices, and ensure safety. Local residency or relocation to SW WA required; roster or ad-hoc site visits.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in hydraulics or equivalent.
• Relevant hydraulics industry experience.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Commitment to safety and reliable conduct.

Responsibilities

• Manage Hydraulic Hoses, Tubes, Valves, and Pump overhauls.
• Assemble to OEM tolerances and specification.
• Operate and maintain workshop equipment.
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Provide feedback and input on tooling, processes and working environment.
• Ensure machines and equipment are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
• Overseeing, guiding, and assisting apprentices and trades assistants.

RCR Mining Technologies are seeking experienced Hydraulic Fitters to join our team on a Full-time basis, located in our Bunbury Workshop Western Australia.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hydraulic Fitter at RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT), a leading business unit within NRW Holdings. This position requires excellent hydraulic fitting skills and a thirst for understanding the intricacies of hydraulic systems used in the mining industry. The Hydraulic Fitter must consistently provide efficient and professional hydraulic fitting services to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic components and systems in mining technologies.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Manage Hydraulic Hoses, Tubes, Valves, and Pump overhauls.
• Assemble to OEM tolerances and specification
• Operates and maintains all workshop equipment within your skill set
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production
• Provide feedback and input in relation to opportunities for improvement, i.e. tooling, processes and working environment
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are maintained in a clean and tidy condition and that no items are left loose
• Overseeing, guiding, and assisting apprentices and trades assistants

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

• Live locally or willing to relocate to the Southwest Western Australia
• Willingness to go to site on either a roster or ADHOC Basis
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Relevant experience in the Hydraulics industry
• Fitness to handle manual labour and provide a clear drug and alcohol screening
• A solid commitment to safety, along with a genuine reliable nature.
