Technical Sales Lead — Mining Equipment Systems (WA)

Job summary

BreatheSafe is expanding its Western Australian team, seeking a technically minded sales professional to grow our WA customer base. You’ll combine equipment knowledge with a practical, relationship-focused sales approach to identify opportunities and create tailored solutions for miners, contractors and OEMs.

You’ll travel across WA, visit sites, assess filtration and pressurisation needs and collaborate with engineering and service teams to propose and demonstrate practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of mobile plant, heavy equipment or related industrial systems.
• An interest in how filtration and pressurisation help protect people and equipment.
• Confidence talking with people across workshop, site and management environments.
• The ability to listen, troubleshoot and explain technical information clearly.
• Commercial curiosity and a willingness to ask for business and follow through.
• Good organisation, confidence using business systems and the ability to work independently.
• A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout WA.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across mine sites, contractors, equipment dealers and OEMs.
• Build relationships with existing customers and identify further opportunities.
• Visit customers and sites to understand equipment, operating conditions and filtration needs.
• Explain product benefits clearly and deliver practical product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals and quotations, follow up opportunities and win business.
• Work with our engineering, product and service teams to support customers.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and take ownership of agreed growth targets.
• Travel regularly throughout WA to visit customers, including frequent trips to mine sites.
