Job summary

Paisley Consulting in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Technical Client Lead to own complex enterprise client environments, lead solution design and drive network & security transformations.

You will combine deep technical expertise with consulting and pre-sales skills, working across Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper and Fortinet to deliver secure, scalable architectures for enterprise and mid-market customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise customers.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, customer workshops and solution design engagements.
• Architect and design secure, scalable enterprise network and security solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper and Fortinet environments.
• Develop high-level and low-level designs, SOWs and implementation plans.
• Support pre-sales engagements, including requirements gathering, solution recommendations, scoping and effort estimation.
• Oversee and contribute to the implementation, migration and optimisation of complex network and security infrastructure.
• Work closely with account management, sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities for technology improvement and customer growth.
• Provide technical guidance and escalation support to delivery teams.
• Build long-term customer relationships through proactive technical engagement and strategic advice.

Senior, customer-facing technical position offering the opportunity to take ownership of complex enterprise client environments, lead solution design and play a pivotal role in delivering modern networking and cyber security solutions. Working across a diverse portfolio of enterprise and mid-market customers, you'll combine deep technical expertise with strong consulting, stakeholder engagement and pre-sales capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior technical point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of enterprise customers.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, customer workshops and solution design engagements.
• Architect and design secure, scalable enterprise network and security solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper and Fortinet environments.
• Develop high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), technical proposals, Statements of Work and implementation plans.
• Support pre-sales engagements, including requirements gathering, solution recommendations, scoping and effort estimation.

About you

• Extensive experience in enterprise networking, network security or infrastructure consulting.
• Strong technical expertise across a combination of Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper and Fortinet technologies.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise network and security solutions.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs and network segmentation.
• Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture and customer-facing consulting.
• Ability to produce HLDs, LLDs, Statements of Work and detailed technical documentation.
• Experience managing technical relationships with enterprise and mid-market customers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into commercial outcomes.
• Previous experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), Systems Integrator (SI) or technology consultancy.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, JNCIP or Fortinet NSE/FCP/FCSS will be highly regarded.
