Job summary

Kinetic IT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our on-site team, supporting a key customer. You will help keep network infrastructure secure, resilient and high-performing, and mentor junior staff as part of a broad enterprise technology environment.

The role covers administering Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet and F5 platforms, managing firewalls, Azure connectivity, and Cisco ACI environments, with an emphasis on senior troubleshooting and resilience.

Qualifications

• Senior level troubleshooting and incident resolution experience.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Administering and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet and F5 platforms.
• Configuring and managing Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Administering McAfee Network Security Manager.
• Supporting hybrid network connectivity within Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, routing and security controls.
• Managing and supporting Cisco ACI environments (Cisco ACI capability highly desired).
• Providing senior-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex network incidents.
• Mentoring junior team members.

About The Role

Are you an experienced network engineer ready to make a real impact? Kinetic IT is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our onsite team, supporting one of our key customers. In this role, you'll help keep network infrastructure secure, resilient and high-performing, protecting our customer from emerging threats and vulnerabilities while working with a broad range of enterprise technologies.

In your role you will be:

• Administering and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet and F5 platforms.
• Configuring and managing Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls
• Administering McAfee Network Security Manager
