What you'll doLead discovery with customers to understand their network, security and business requirements.
Design managed WAN, SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, firewall and secure connectivity solutions for complex, multi-site environments.
Work with telcos, carriers, vendors and internal teams to shape connectivity and managed service solutions.
Develop transition strategies that address existing MPLS and Internet services, parallel operation, staged site cutovers, testing and rollback.
Own the technical solution story across proposals, tenders, presentations, architecture documents and statements of work.
Explain options, risks, costs and expected outcomes clearly to both technical stakeholders and business executives.
Check that scope, assumptions, licensing, pricing inputs and delivery commitments align before a proposal goes to a customer.
Partner with engineering and service delivery teams to ensure solutions can be implemented, supported and managed.
Help improve Secure Agility's managed network and security offerings, proposal templates and delivery playbooks.
Where relevant, help scope emerging technology opportunities, including AI proofs of concept, around clear business objectives and measurable success criteria.
Significant experience in a telco, carrier, service provider or managed services environment, designing solutions for business customers.
Deep knowledge of managed WAN, Internet and MPLS connectivity, routing, resilience, SD-WAN, SASE, SSE and next generation firewalls.
Strong solution experience with Palo Alto Networks and/or Fortinet, including relevant parts of the Cortex and FortiSASE portfolios.
Working knowledge of the Cisco Meraki portfolio and Netskope SD-WAN and SSE, or the ability to apply deep experience from comparable platforms.
A track record of shaping complex customer opportunities, including discovery, architecture, migration planning, technical presales and tender responses.
Excellent proposal, statement of work and presentation skills. You can write precisely for engineers and plainly for executives.
Sound judgement about migration risk, dependencies, assumptions and what needs specialist review or approval.
The ability to bring sales, commercial, engineering and delivery teams together around a solution they can confidently stand behind.
Experience defining the objectives and success measures for AI or other emerging technology projects would be an advantage. Relevant vendor certifications are welcome, but demonstrated solution design and customer outcomes matter most.
What success looks likeCustomers understand what is being proposed, why it meets their needs and how the transition will work. Proposals are technically accurate and persuasive. Risks and assumptions are identified early, and the services sold can be delivered and supported effectively.
