Job summary

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives, apply data modelling, and ensure alignment with regulatory and security needs. Experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure and Agile/Hybrid methods is valued.

Qualifications

Job description

The Technical Business Analyst plays a key role in delivering detailed analysis across complex and strategic initiatives.

Positioned at the intersection of business operations, delivery, and technology, the role is responsible for eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements; designing scalable, value-driven technical solutions; and supporting their successful implementation across cross-functional teams.

The Technical Business Analyst translates business objectives into actionable requirements, business rules, process models, business datasets, and success measures. The role ensures alignment of solution design with strategic priorities, stakeholder needs, and operational constraints.

This includes identifying opportunities for process improvement, enhancing service delivery, and supporting adoption of digital and data products and services, including identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve operational efficiency.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Key requirements include:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver detailed business and technical analysis for complex enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy.
• Proven experience with enterprise platforms such as Dynamics 365 (CE), Power Platform.
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation, process modelling, user story creation, and defining clear acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, system integration concepts, and API documentation standards.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills to drive consensus and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience working within Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies, including use of tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and ecosystems (e.g., compute, storage, networking, identity, integration), applied within complex enterprise design contexts

QUALIFICATIONS

• Practical experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience in regulated sectors (e.g., financial services) advantageous.

Desirable Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant business or technical analysis experience.
• Certifications such as CBAP or Agile BA are desirable.
