Job summary

Halcyon Knights is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to elevate a high-performing BA team through coaching, mentoring and establishing stronger standards. You will lead complex initiatives from discovery through to implementation and BAU handover, working with senior and executive stakeholders to translate problems into practical solutions.

You will be responsible for process mapping and continuous improvement, and will operate across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments, delivering

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end Business Analysis experience across complex transformation initiatives.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or uplifting other BAs.
• Experience establishing or improving BA standards, templates, playbooks or quality.
• Confidence engaging with senior leaders and constructively challenging stakeholders.
• Strong workshop facilitation, requirements and process improvement capability.
• The ability to operate across both strategic thinking and detailed delivery.
• Experience across technology-enabled transformation and complex system change.

We're partnering with an established organisation undergoing significant transformation to find a Senior Business Analyst who can bring strong delivery capability, but just as importantly, help lift the capability of the broader BA team.

This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to gather requirements and move onto the next project. You'll work closely with an existing team of BAs, helping take a good function to the next level through coaching, mentoring, stronger standards and consistent ways of working.

You'll be responsible for:

• Coaching and mentoring BAs, helping develop their capability and confidence
• Owning and continuously improving BA standards, frameworks and ways of working
• Leading complex initiatives from discovery and requirements through to implementation and BAU handover
• Facilitating workshops and working closely with senior and executive stakeholders
• Translating complex business problems into practical solution options and recommendations
• Current and future-state process mapping, gap analysis and continuous improvement
• Producing high-quality requirements, process documentation and analysis artefacts
• Acting as a trusted advisor across business, transformation and technology teams
• Working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments

You'll ideally bring:
