Job summary

Sigma Aerospace is seeking a Tech Services & Engineering Manager to lead technical solutions across its MRO operations at the Maroochydore / Sunshine Coast base. The role covers maintenance planning, data, configuration control and Responsible Manager duties, with a Monday-Friday roster and potential relocation support.

The successful candidate will have CASA Part 145 knowledge, extensive maintenance experience and strong leadership to coordinate with engineering, production, logistics and

Qualifications

• Current CASA Part 66 B1 or B2 licence is mandatory.
• Extensive line and/or base maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of Part 145 requirements, quality systems and approved data concepts.
• Working knowledge of maintenance planning concepts, work packs and approved data controls.
• Ability to interpret SBs, ADs, repairs and MODSUMS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capability.
• Must obtain and maintain an ASIC and meet site-access requirements.
• Valid driver’s licence; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to ensure work packs align with approved maintenance data and configuration requirements.
• Coordinate planning for SBs, ADs and engineering directives.
• Act as a key escalation point for technical issues and guide teams.
• Build and maintain base maintenance check plans and milestone schedules.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure parts, tooling and consumables are available.
• Ensure regulatory, quality and safety compliance across operations.
