Job summary

Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking a GM MRO to lead the delivery of its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul operations across Aero Engines, Maroochydore Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance ports. The role drives safe, compliant and profitable MRO performance under CASA and EASA Part 145 obligations while guiding cross-functional teams in planning, resourcing, quality and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant aviation maintenance leadership experience is mandatory.
• Operational leadership across aviation maintenance operations.
• Deep understanding of Part 145 requirements and audit readiness.
• Commercial acumen with client relations and cost control.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams through ramp-up, recruitment and workforce resilience.
• Compliance with CASA and Sigma quality and safety frameworks.
• Valid driver's licence and work rights; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead MRO operations to deliver maintenance safely, on time and to standards.
• Set and manage KPIs across safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost control.
• Oversee workforce planning, mobilisation and roster strategy.
• Ensure effective escalation pathways and decision-making for constraints.
• Maintain ongoing CASA and EASA Part 145 compliance and audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce rework and optimise delivery.
• Lead and develop the MRO leadership team and recruitment strategies.
• Promote Sigma values and safety-first culture.
