Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia Limited is seeking an experienced Technology Manager to lead the transition from project delivery into sustainable, business-as-usual operations for the Medicare Mental Health Check-In platform. You will design the operating model, build and lead a 4–6 person technology team and ensure security, reliability and government compliance across cloud services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading technology teams in complex, multi‑supplier environments.
• Proven track record transitioning large digital services from project delivery to business‑as‑usual operations.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and integration services.
• Experience overseeing security compliance and assurance activities in regulated settings.
• Experience in healthcare technology is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition from project delivery into ongoing operations, including operating model design, knowledge transfer, documentation, handover and continuity planning.
• Shape, recruit and lead a high‑performing technology team with expertise in cloud engineering, development and operations, data analytics, reporting and business analysis.
• Oversee reliability, availability, performance and incident management of cloud infrastructure, applications and integrations.
• Manage external technology support partners, including SLAs, contract performance and issue resolution.
• Lead government security compliance and disaster recovery assurance activities.
• Establish and continuously improve service management processes for incidents, problems, changes and configurations.
• Plan and deliver platform improvements, releases and technology projects balancing service continuity and obligations.
• Build relationships with technology, clinical and operational teams, senior leaders, suppliers and government bodies.
• Support governance, risk management, performance reporting and audit readiness.
