Job summary

TeamKids is seeking energetic Educators for Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) in Preston on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll work after school from 3:15pm to 5:15pm, Monday to Thursday, with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per week and additional casual shifts.

You’ll help plan exciting activities, ensure children’s safety, foster a nurturing environment, and support healthy meals while engaging with 5–12-year-olds. WWCC, Cert III/Diploma, and National Safety Training are required.

Qualifications

• WWCC/Blue card or state equivalent
• Cert III or Diploma in ACECQA approved course (or working towards it)
• Must complete National Child Safety Training prior to starting

The role

Location: Preston

You Will Be Guaranteed a Minimum Of 8 Hours Per Week On a Regular, Permanent Basis WITH More Shifts Casually Available

After School Care - 3:15pm - 5:15pm Monday to Thursday

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll Need (or Be Willing To Get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
