Job summary

TeamKids is hiring part-time Educators for Outside School Hours Care in Preston. You’ll work a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per week on a permanent basis, with extra shifts available after school hours (3:15pm–5:15pm, Monday to Thursday).

You will help ensure children’s safety, plan engaging activities, foster a caring environment, and support healthy meals and a tidy space. Prior OSHC or education experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Working with Children Check relevant to your state (WWCC, WWVP, Blue card, VIT).
• Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or working towards it).
• Mandatory National Child Safety Training prior to commencing employment.

The role

Location: Preston

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per week on a regular, permanent basis WITH more shifts casually available:

After School Care - 3:15pm - 5:15pm Monday to Thursday

• Assist in the planning and preparation of exciting and innovative activities that enrich the lives of the children in our care

About You

Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential -we can help you grow your skills!

You'll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
• As part of TeamKids' commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
