Job summary

TeamKids in The Oaks NSW is seeking a motivated Second in Charge (2IC) to lead our before and after school program. You will work closely with the Director of Service to deliver high-quality OSHC experiences and memorable moments for children, families and school partners.

Ideal candidates are passionate about childcare leadership, confident communicators, and ready to drive positive outcomes. Diploma-level qualification (or working towards ACECQA standards) and suitability checks are required;

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification (or working towards ACECQA standards).
• Willingness to complete National Child Safety Training before starting.
• Experience in Before/After School Care is preferred but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead in delivering high-quality care for children in the OSHC service.
• Support the Director of Service in daily operations and program delivery.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, team members and school principals.
• Foster a positive, energetic, and safe learning environment.

This permanent, part - t ime opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You\'ll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

You\'ll Work Across Split Shifts, Monday To Friday

• BSC: 6.30am-9am
• ASC: 3pm-6pm
• Total: 27.50

The Successful Candidate

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• You\'re a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate About Creating Enriching Experiences For Primary-aged Children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
