Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a part-time Second in Charge (2IC) to lead and deliver high-quality OSHC care at our Camden service. You will be supported by a Director of Service to thrive in a leadership role and create memorable experiences for children, families, and staff.

We value energetic, enthusiastic leaders who love working with primary-aged children, and we provide in-house development, safety training, and strong opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Prior OSHC/Before- and After School Care experience preferred, but training will be provided.
• Excellent communication with children, parents, team members and school principals.
• Strong teamwork with a can-do, positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and loves to have fun.
• Diploma qualification or working towards it as per ACECQA standards.
• Mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment.

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location:Camden NSW 2570

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

• Before school care: 6.30am-9:00am
• After school care: 2.30pm-6pm
• Admin: 3.5
• Total hours: 33.50

The Successful Candidate:

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
