Job summary

TeamKids is expanding its OSHC offering as the on-site provider for a P-12 school in Hoppers Crossing. You will contribute as the Second in Charge, helping establish the new service, leading care, and delivering enriching experiences for children before and after school and during holidays.

The role is part-time with split shifts (6:30am–9:00am and 2:35pm–6:00pm), with training and support from a Director of Service to ensure you thrive in a fast-paced education setting.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities with a can-do attitude.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN with primary school aged children.
• Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards) as per ACECQA standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the school community and attend events and assemblies.
• Assist with creating and implementing enriching experiences based on children’s interests.
• Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

TeamKids are delighted to be partnering with this P-12 school as their first on-site OSHC provider. You will be instrumental in establishing the new OSHC provision and setting the service up for success.

Service Location: Hoppers Crossing

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

6:30am - 9:00am + 2:35pm - 6:00pm

The Successful Candidate:

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!

• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
