Job summary

TeamKids Amaroo OSHC is seeking a Second in Charge (2IC) to lead and deliver high-quality care for primary-aged children. You will be a key leader, engaging with the school community and attending events and assemblies to support a safe, fun environment.

You will help design enriching experiences, build strong relationships with children and families, and ensure the program remains compliant with industry regulations, while maintaining energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification (ACECQ standards) or equivalent.
• OSHC/childcare experience preferred, training provided.
• Strong communication with children, parents, staff.
• Ability to lead a team and work with school principals.
• Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: Amaroo

You’ll Work Across Split Shifts, Monday To Friday

6:45 - 9:00am

2:40 - 6:30pm

The Successful Candidate

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• You are a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate About Creating Enriching Experiences For Primary-aged Children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!
• Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards. (Visit www.acecqa.gov.au for more info)
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
