Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a part-time Second in Charge (2IC) to lead and support our Malabar service, delivering high-quality before and after school care for primary school children. You'll work with a Director of Service to create engaging experiences and ensure compliance with ACECQA standards.

You're a confident communicator, a strong team player, and passionate about enriching moments for kids. We offer training, development, staff discounts, and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: Malabar NSW 2036

You’ll Work Across Split Shifts, Monday To Friday

7:00am - 9:00am + 2:30pm - 6:00pm

The Successful Candidate

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• You’re a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate About Creating Enriching Experiences For Primary-aged Children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!
• Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards. (Visit www.acecqa.gov.au for more info)
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
