Job summary

Workplace Injury Commission in Melbourne is seeking a Conciliation Team Manager to lead a high performing dispute resolution team and drive high-quality conciliation services in line with the Vic 2013 Act.

You will mentor Conciliation and Dispute Officers, foster a collaborative culture, and implement continuous improvements to enhance outcomes for injured workers, employers, and stakeholders. This is a hybrid, flexible role with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a high performing team of specialists through coaching and accountability.
• Understanding of ADR principles and ability to apply policy and legislation in dispute resolution.
• Proven ability to drive improvements in operating efficiency, quality and customer experience.

As a Conciliation Team Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Conciliation Officers and Dispute Officers, to deliver high quality, timely and accessible conciliation services and support the fair, informal and cost-effective resolution of worker's compensation disputes in accordance with the objectives and requirements of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act (Vic) 2013.As an experienced leader, you will harness your skills to grow a high performing, collaborative and supportive dispute resolution team. You will oversee service and quality standards and actively promote a constructive, accountable and learning culture.This opportunity will see you thrive in leadership, proactively driving continuous improvements that enhance the experience of injured workers and other parties to disputes, as well as our stakeholders more broadly.
