Job summary

South Burnett Regional Council seeks a Team Leader based in Wondai to provide skilled support to Supervisors and operational teams delivering construction and maintenance activities. You will lead the efficient operation of plant across state and council transport assets and supervise work sites, driving performance and safety.

The role is permanent full-time, offering a salary of $70K-$79K per year plus allowances and superannuation, and requires MR truck license and construction industry

Qualifications

Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and drive performance.
Experience operating mobile plant in construction/maintenance.
Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques.
Ability to perform pre-start inspections on heavy equipment.
Basic literacy and numeracy; good communication.
Ability to complete works on time to standards.

Responsibilities

Lead teams across construction and maintenance sites.
Operate and monitor mobile plant across assets and sites.
Ensure safety, quality and compliance of works.
