Job summary

Department of Education Victoria in Melbourne is seeking a Team Leader, Participant, Event and Program Support to drive a high-quality participant journey across professional learning programs and events. You will lead a sub-team, mentor staff, and coordinate networks to ensure consistent, customer-focused delivery across Academy sites.

The role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to coordinate a matrix staffing model with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Essential: Experience leading staff in complex environments to deliver high-quality, consistent experience for stakeholders.
• Desirable: Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high performing team dedicated to delivering an exceptional participant and guest experience.
• Provide ongoing development and training to your team ensuring they are aware of any updates to key policies or procedures.
• Provide expert advice on participant, event and program support matters across Academy teams and to external stakeholders.
• Effectively prioritise and manage all participant, event and program support enquiries, providing expert feedback and guidance to the team.
• Build team cohesion with your team and others within the Academy and its partners to ensure a high-quality service experience.
• Bring your expertise in leading a high performing team and provide insight to opportunities for improvement in processes and system enhancements.
• Utilise data to drive informed decisions for improved outcomes.
