Job summary

South West Disability Services in Warrnambool invites applications for a Team Leader to oversee the NDIS program, provide leadership to Program Officers, and ensure participant needs are met while maintaining legislative and compliance standards.

This on-going, full-time role offers a proactive leadership position within a key regional service provider, with opportunities for development, support to staff, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality inclusive services across our NDIS

Qualifications

• NDIS registration knowledge and ability to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Experience with managing a team and coordinating a program.
• Ability to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NDIS program and team to meet participant needs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
• Oversee operations and development of the NDIS registered business.

The Team Leader - NDIS implements the operation, performance and ongoing development of our NDIS registered business South West Disability Services.
The role also provides leadership and direction to the NDIS Program Officers and team to ensure the needs of our participants are met and all relative legislative and compliance requirements are adhered to and maintained.

The must haves

Mandatory requirements

• Relevant Degree or relevant post graduate qualification and experience
• Or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience and/or training
• Employee Victorian Working with Children and satisfactory Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check

Highly desirable requirements

• Lived experience or awareness of the impact of disability upon individuals, families, carers and the community
• Substantial experience using Microsoft Office products and relevant industry software and programs
