THEROLE

We areseeking a proactive and hands‑on Production Team Leader to join our dynamicteam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspectsof production, ensuring that work is carried out in an efficient, safe, andorganised manner. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you willsupervise the production crew, monitor plant and equipment, and ensurecompliance with safety and quality standards.

• Activelyleading the production crew to achieve Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI) andensuring all team members work safely and responsibly.
• Managingwork areas and production functions to ensure smooth workflow and optimallabour resource allocation.
• Monitoringequipment settings and plant performance, addressing any issues to avoidproduction delays.
• Ensuringaccurate and timely completion of jobs in line with the approved ProductionSchedule.
• Leadingby example, promoting good work practices and fostering a collaborative,efficient team environment.

ASUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• Forklift Licence highly desirable
• Demonstrable experience in a production or teamleader role, with the ability to lead by example and motivate a team to meetproduction targets and maintain safety standards.
• A commitment to ensuring a safe workingenvironment and a proactive approach to identifying, reporting, and rectifyinghazards.
• Ability to ensure that all jobs are processedto meet quality standards, documented accurately, and tracked in the VPSsystem.
• Practical experience with plant and equipmentmonitoring, including understanding of production line operations, equipmentsettings, and quality control.
• A strong capability to identify and addressissues that may affect production, ensuring minimal disruption and maximumefficiency.
• Able to effectively communicate with the team,management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve anyissues.
• A proactive attitude towards improving personaland team performance, as well as contributing to the company’s continuousimprovement initiatives such as Project 480.
• The ability to maintain a safe, clean, andorganised work environment, ensuring all production-related paperwork iscompleted accurately and on time.
