Job summary

Tyree Transformers in Braemar NSW is seeking a driven Team Leader to manage production activities in a fast-moving metal fabrication environment. You will lead a team, mentor apprentices, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously to meet production plans. forklift licence and reliable work history are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Team leader with production experience in a metal fabrication environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency with a hands-on leadership style.
• Organised, reliable and able to communicate at all levels.
• Willing to support and achieve production targets; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Daily/weekly check lists and prioritised work planning.
• Address daily issues and requests; manage process improvements.
• Back flushing and apprentice training/coaching.
• Support 6S principles and maintain quality check lists.
• Utilise Syspro or similar inventory systems where applicable.

• Extensive experience in metal fabrication

The successful applicant will ideally have good written, verbal communication and numerical skills. A good stable work history and a positive “can do” attitude.
