Job summary

Deaf Connect is seeking a Team Leader for Beginner Courses Delivery in Australia. You will oversee scheduling, workforce planning and delivery across the Beginner Courses, guiding Tutors and delivery staff to ensure resources align with operational needs.

You will lead a team, develop processes, recruit and onboard staff, and use data to forecast needs while driving continuous improvement to support growth and high quality Auslan course delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning, scheduling and team leadership, ideally in education or training.
• Strong organisation, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Confidence using workforce/scheduling systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.
• Auslan skills and knowledge of the Deaf community, language and culture.

Responsibilities

• Leading the planning, scheduling and effective delivery of Beginner Courses.
• Managing workforce capacity and the allocation of Tutors.
• Leading, supporting and developing the delivery team, including recruitment, onboarding and performance.
• Using workforce and delivery data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and support effective planning.
• Improving scheduling systems, processes and ways of working to increase efficiency and support growth.
• Supporting quality, compliance and continuous improvement across course delivery.
