Job summary

Orange Sky Australia seeks a Team Leader Operations Support to guide the Volunteer Operations Support team across Australia, ensuring service excellence and a strong volunteer experience. The role sits in the Operations department on a 12-month secondment, focusing on leadership and continuous improvement.

You will mentor the team, manage workloads, and drive process improvements while collaborating with other leaders and partners to deliver key initiatives in line with our mission.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience or clear readiness to lead and develop a high-performing, supporter-centric team.
• Excellent communication skills with a diverse group of staff and volunteers.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to spot gaps in service delivery and act on them.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Volunteer Operations Support team; act as primary escalation point.
• Plan workloads to ensure equitable distribution and high-quality volunteer support.
• Identify and drive process improvements through system changes and automation.
• Monitor team performance against OKRs to ensure timely enquiry resolution and smooth volunteer lifecycle.
• Support a portfolio of services including recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with functional leaders and external partners on strategic initiatives.
