Department of Education Victoria – Parkville VIC is seeking a skilled classroom teacher to deliver high-quality education across multiple campuses including Cherry Creek, Parkville and related facilities under the Department of Justice and Community Safety. Role requires planning, preparation and delivery of programs aligned to the Victorian Curriculum with a strong literacy and numeracy focus.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum, including literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform practice with feedback to students and parents.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings; engage in professional learning.
• Support and participate in school policy development and priorities.
