Job summary

Parkville College is recruiting classroom teachers to deliver education across its Parkville, Cherry Creek and Malmsbury sites. The role covers planning, preparation and teaching aligned to the Victorian Curriculum for students aged 10–21 in custody or secure settings.

The position involves working across units, supporting flexible delivery and potentially undertaking duties beyond rostered teaching aligned with salary range, qualifications, training and experience.

Qualifications

• SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
• SC2 Demonstrated high-impact teaching strategies.
• SC3 Demonstrated use of data to inform teaching and feedback.
• SC4 Demonstrated collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• SC5 Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and improvement.
• Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.
• Undertake additional classroom and organisational duties as required.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
