  • Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology in a secondary school setting.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation.
  • Knowledge of design processes, prototyping, product development and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborative approach with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Willingness to contribute to pastoral, spiritual, and co-curricular life of the School.
  • Genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing, growth and development of young women.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and the Loreto tradition.

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity, innovation and problem-solving.
  • Inspire students through project-based learning, design thinking and product development.
  • Apply the School’s assessment and reporting processes consistently.
  • Differentiate learning to support diverse student needs, in collaboration with the Academic Support Department.
  • Safely and effectively utilise workshop tools, equipment and machinery.
  • Contribute to pastoral care through Circle Class, supporting student wellbeing and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and faculty initiatives.
  • Actively participate in co-curricular programs and the broader life of the School.

Loreto Kirribilli seeks a passionate and dedicated TAS Teacher (Design and Technology) to join our Senior School teaching team (Years 7–12), in a permanent full-time position, commencing Term 1, 2027.
