Job summary

Loreto Kirribilli is seeking a highly experienced Music Teacher to join our Performing Arts Faculty in a permanent full-time position, commencing Term 1, 2027. You will teach Music across years 7–12, lead co-curricular ensembles, and collaborate with staff to deliver engaging lessons aligned with our values. Tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation are required; HSC Music 1,2 and Extension experience is desirable.

About the Role

Reporting to the Principal through the Subject Coordinator, you will:

  • Teach Music across years 7-12.
  • Experience in HSC Music 1, 2 and Extension Courses and the capacity to lead extra-curricular instrumental ensembles is desirable.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, contemporary lessons that foster students’ musical knowledge, creativity and performance skills.
  • Apply the School’s assessment and reporting processes consistently
  • Differentiate learning to support diverse student needs, in collaboration with the Academic Support Department.
  • Contribute to pastoral care through Circle Class, supporting student wellbeing and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and faculty initiatives.
  • Actively participate in co-curricular programs and the broader life of the School.
