The opportunity?
We are seeking an organised and proactive Technology and Applied Sciences (TAS) Assistant - Workshop and Textiles, to support the effective delivery of TAS programs. Working closely with staff, you will help maintain safe, well-resourced learning environments, provide technical and classroom support, and assist with resource management and WHS compliance. As part of our College community, you will contribute to a positive and inclusive environment while upholding the College's Catholic identity and Mercy Values.

What are we looking for?
  • Previous experience in a TAS department or similar environment, particularly in workshop and/or textiles settings, is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated administrative capability, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, with the capacity to manage competing priorities, support colleagues, and undertake a variety of duties to meet the operational needs of the College and TAS Faculty.
  • Demonstrated understanding of WHS practices.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid qualifications or be willing to acquire one.
