Job summary

AGL Energy is hiring a Talent Solutions Partner in Melbourne on a 14-month maximum term contract. You will support end-to-end recruitment for Technology roles, attracting hard-to-find talent through proactive campaigns and talent pooling, while ensuring a superior candidate experience.

You will own relationships with Technology stakeholders, advise hiring leaders, and help drive an inclusive, collaborative hiring culture across our Hybrid work model in Docklands.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for mid-senior level roles in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience recruiting for Data and AI, Operational Technology, Cyber Security, and IT Engineering is highly regarded.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with hiring leaders and candidates.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

In your role of Talent Solutions Partner, you will provide professional end to end recruitment support for our Technology hiring leaders, attracting and securing talent across a variety of roles aligned with our corporate business portfolios. With an understanding of current and future talent needs, you will design and implement creative recruitment campaigns to attract and secure the rare and hard to find talent through proactive searches, market mapping and talent pooling.

• Ensuring the candidate experience is prioritised throughout the recruitment process
• Building credibility as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders to influence best practice hiring decisions
• Implementing proactive search strategies to attract the best talent
• Playing an active role on social media to grow your own professional brand and promote AGL as an employer of choice
• Contributing to identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting our Diversity and Inclusion agenda across our key pillars of Gender, Disability, Caring, Cultural Identity, LGBTQ+ and First Nations contributing to achieving our RAP goals

About You

We are looking for a passionate and curious Talent Solutions Partner who enjoys partnering and connecting with the business, takes ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process and actively engages and collaborates with their teammates. You will own relationships with our Technology stakeholders, engage in projects, and provide consultative and strategic workforce solutions to our business.

What You Will Bring to The Table

• Talent acquisition experience working on mid-senior level roles within a large, complex organisation - ideally in technology
• Experience recruiting for skill sets such as Data and AI, Operational Technology, Cyber Security, and IT Engineering will be highly regarded
• Emotional intelligence, combined with the communication skills to build quality partnerships with hiring leaders and candidates
• An ability to apply critical thinking and judgement to solve problems
• Proven ability to operate compliantly within established processes, yet comfortable to challenge the status quo
