If you're a recruiter who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, influencing hiring decisions, sourcing top talent, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will partner closely with leaders across an allocated portfolio, providing expert recruitment advice and delivering end-to-end talent acquisition solutions.

This is a true partnering role where you'll move beyond simply filling vacancies and become a trusted advisor to hiring managers, helping them make informed hiring decisions while ensuring every candidate experiences the professionalism and purpose that The BUSY Group is known for.

What you'll be doing

Strategic Talent Partnering

  • Build strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and leaders across your portfolio.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business operations, workforce challenges, and future hiring needs.
  • Use recruitment data and workforce insights to guide hiring strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.

Attraction & Sourcing

  • Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates utilising Seek, talent communities, referrals, social media, community networks, and other sourcing channels.
  • Manage the recruitment process from briefing through to offer and commencement.
  • Conduct screening, shortlisting, and candidate assessments.
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver fair, evidence-based selection processes.
  • Participate in interviews and provide expert guidance on candidate suitability.
  • Ensure selection decisions are robust, consistent, and well documented.

Candidate Experience

  • Create a positive, engaging, and professional candidate journey from first contact through to onboarding.
  • Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure all candidate interactions reflect The BUSY Group's values and commitment to respect and inclusion.

Offers, Contracts & Compliance

  • Manage employment offers in line with remuneration frameworks, Modern Awards, and employment legislation.
  • Prepare employment contracts and offer documentation.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with organisational policies, child safety obligations, and best practice standards.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and records within our ATS and HR systems.
  • Contribute to recruitment projects, process improvements, reporting initiatives, and workforce planning activities.

Why BUSY?

At The BUSY Group, you'll be joining an organisation with a strong social purpose and a genuine commitment to making a difference in communities across Australia and New Zealand.

  • The opportunity to influence hiring outcomes across a diverse range of businesses and services.
  • A collaborative and supportive People & Culture team.
  • The opportunity to contribute to an organisation making a real difference across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada.
  • Genuine career progression across a growing organisation
  • Personal training and development budget
  • Paid Parental Leave and annual My BUSY Day
  • 3 day gifted leave - Christmas closure
  • Fitness Passport, retail discounts and wellbeing programs

About you

You'll be an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and finding creative ways to attract talent in competitive markets.

You’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with hiring managers across the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Strong sourcing capability and experience identifying talent through multiple channels.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
  • The ability to provide evidence-based recruitment advice and use data to support decision-making.
