Job summary

BUSY At Work is seeking an engaging Transition to Work facilitator in Townsville, Australia, to connect young people with employers and create real job outcomes. This full-time, fixed-term role focuses on sourcing opportunities and selling potential, with a strong emphasis on hustle, heart, and follow-through.

The position offers competitive pay around AUD 77k plus super and bonus, with extra annual leave and a dedicated training budget to support personal and professional growth.

• Match participants to vacancies and create opportunities where none existed.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and community organisations to unlock pathways to work.
• Track outcomes, follow up relentlessly, and celebrate every win—big or small.
• Work closely with small groups of young people to build their confidence and employability.

Presenting nearly 50 years’ experience in skilling solutions and services to employers and businesses, job seekers and students, through apprenticeship support services, employment, education support programs, and vocational training.

About the Role

Working within our Transition to Workcontract, you’ll be on the front line selling potential, opening doors, and creating real job outcomesfor young people. This is not a desk bound role it’s about hustle, heart, and follow-through.

But where this role really shines? Employer engagement.
You’ll be the person who won’t take no for an answer, confidently pitching motivated young people to employers, reverse-marketing candidates with limited experience but huge potential. You know how to sell attitude over experience and turn “maybe” into “when can they start?”

You will:

• MOTIVATE, EMPOWER & CHAMPIONyoung people throughout their employment journey

This is a full-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2027,based in Townsville.
