Job summary

Carma is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead for Operations to drive recruitment across our high-speed, frontline and skilled trades environments. You will partner with production and operational leaders to translate workforce needs into practical sourcing and hiring plans.

The role combines hands-on recruitment with leadership of a TA team, focusing on speed, quality, and scalable processes to support Carma’s growth in the Australian automotive sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end recruitment in fast-paced settings.
• Experience leading or mentoring a Talent Acquisition team.
• Strong ability to source for high-volume frontline and technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment across Carma’s operational workforce and partners.
• Build sourcing strategies for high-volume frontline and skilled roles.
• Own campaigns and scale recruitment during operational demand spikes.
• Recruit key and difficult-to-fill positions across automotive and logistics.
• Coach the TA team and improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning and headcount requirements.
• Develop talent pipelines and reduce reactive hiring.
• Utilise data to improve vacancy levels, time-to-fill and quality of hire.
• Drive process improvements and adopt new recruitment tools.
