Job summary

Carma, Australia’s fast-growing automotive business, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to drive recruitment across our busy operations at Carma HQ. You will shape staffing strategies, partner with production leaders and build pipelines for frontline and skilled roles.

You’ll lead a hands-on TA team, coach managers, and implement data-driven processes, AI-enabled tools, and scalable sourcing to secure critical talent and support Carma’s rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering full-cycle recruitment in fast-paced environments.
• Experience leading or mentoring a Talent Acquisition team.
• Proven track record in high-volume recruitment and targeted sourcing for difficult roles.
• Strong understanding of technical and operational talent markets.
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders to develop attraction strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment across Carma’s operational workforce and deliver against hiring plans.
• Build and execute sourcing strategies across frontline roles and skilled positions.
• Own high-volume recruitment campaigns and scale attraction and selection.
• Personally recruit key and difficult-to-fill positions across automotive and operations.
• Coach the TA team and improve recruitment processes.
• Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning and headcount requirements.
• Develop strong talent pipelines for recurring and specialist roles.
• Use recruitment data to drive decisions and improve outcomes.
• Improve processes and candidate experience across sites.
• Leverage technology and AI to reduce recruitment administration and increase efficiency.
